CSF awareness raising program educates the rural communities on disability issues through workshops, tours, seminars and media events. CSF additional health communication promotional techniques include written publications, posters and leaflet distribution, television and radio programs; all of which inform children, families, teachers and communities how to protect the sight of our future generation. Furthermore, CSF observes international disability days as World Health Organization’s (WHO) ‘International Disability Day’, ‘White cane day’ etc to promote awareness of different disabilities.

CSF advocacy program raises awareness of the legal entitlement of disabled children and their parents to stipend, social security and low interest business loan from the Government social security scheme. CSF advocacy officers assist eligible children’s parents to make a claim to access their entitlement from the social security department. Furthermore, CSF officers advise parents of disabled children to set up small businesses.
